Boozhoo my name is Angus Bush and I was raised in the Wabooz Seppi Aki of the Potawatomi people. My father is John Bush baa and my mother is Carolyn Bush. I grew up within an extended family of corn makers and black ash basket weavers and like many young people took to from an early age the love of our life relationships here that includes the mastery of Mandamin or corn relationships from seed to recovering the many different preparations. Now at the age of 31 I am utilizing those techniques and teachings of my community to try and provide Mandamin to all Anishinaabe Aki. Using Bear Island calico Flint corn from a organic certified heritage grower down in Niles, Michigan and ashes obtained all over Michigan and a clear mind, every batch is cooked and processed by hand keeping in mind that one day it will make a good bowl mbop
